ITINERARY

DAY 1
A Guide – driver will transfer you from the airport to your hotel, where you get all the information about your trip with us.
DAY 2: Quito tour & Middle of the world
We will visit Independence Square flanked by the Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, the Archbishop´s Palace after we will visit the first Indian church in Quito call El Sagrario where you can see the gold interior, Compania de Jesus church, it is the best-known church in this city because of this large central nave, which is abundantly decorated with gold leaves, it is one of the most significant works of Spanish Baroque architecture in South America. It is Quito´s most ornate church and the most beautiful in South America. Continue to San Francisco convent, one of the greatest religious buildings of the new world. Its impressive facade and atrium lead to its gold interior, a Baroque influence of Moorish style, with the winged Virgin of Quito at this main altar. Afterward, we will visit the viewpoint of Quito call Panecillo where you can get an amazing view of the two parts of Quito old and new. In the afternoon we go to the Middle of the world, where you have the chance to stay on food each hemisphere means the highest part of this line in the world. Back to the hotel

DAY 3: Cotopaxi National Park – Trip to Baños

Breakfast Departure from Quito through the Panamerica highway, enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the place, we drive to the second-highest active volcano Cotopaxi (59897 meters). Our first stop will be at the Holy Incas lake Limpiopungo lake where we can do a little walk around the lake to see the flora and fauna of the Andes, Then we will drive to Banos, which is the second most popular city in Tungurahua and is the major tourist center. It is known as the Gateway to the Amazonas. Banos is located on the northern foothills of the Tungurahua volcano, at an elevation of 1820 meters. It is named after the hot spring located around the city, which have the same healing properties due to their content of various minerals. The city is surrounded by the Pastaza river and has humid and hot weather. All these conditions allow the tourist to develop different adventure sports like rafting, kayak, cycling, hiking, and more…………… There also you can enjoy the local gastronomy and sweets or toffies melcochas and Candy made with sugar cane and fruits.

DAY 4: Visit the Avenue of Waterfall and tarabita & City tour Riobamba
This day we will enjoy the scenery along the dusty road that goes through the valley of the Pastaza River, the valley features many waterfalls, we will stop and visit the biggest one, Pailon del diablo and then you have the opportunity to pass the river, approximately 700 meters, through the ravine´s river, then we will finish with the visit. From there we will continue to Riobamba. Once at the city we have a city tour, the place you will spend the night within close proximity to the highest active volcano of the world Chimborazo, and more

DAY 5 Riobamba – Ingapirca – Cuenca

After breakfast, we will start to drive to Cuenca on the way we will make some stop to enjoy the landscapes of the Andes, afterward continue to the oldest archaeological complex of the country call INGAPIRCA Quechua for “WALL ROCKS OF INCA” the most important and well preserved of Ecuador Cañari`s ruins located in the north of Cuenca, we have time to walk and know more about this complex between Incas and local Indians of Ecuador, After the visit, we will continue to Cuenca which takes about 2 hours.

DAY 6: Cuenca city tour – Cajas National Park – Guayaquil

In the morning we will visit the downtown with its beautiful churches and squares, charming markets, handicraft store, and flowers market, admire magnificent historic houses perched on cliffs high above the rushing Tomebamba river conclude with a visit to Panama hat Factory and ceramic art gallery then we will drive through the Cajas National park which is located to the west in the park there are about 200 lakes, which are the remains of the last ice age, small rivers, whose crystal clear water flows into the Pacific, connect the lakes. We will have a short time to take some pictures. After we will continue to the west to the city of Guayaquil, it is Ecuador´s largest city situated at sea level and it is port PUERTO MARITIMO is the main seaport of the country. The commercial and industrial center of Ecuador and lies on the west bank of the river Guayas about 60 km from outflow in the Gulf of Guayaquil.

DAY 7: Transfer from Guayaquil to airport end of services or Galapagos option.

Scheduled tour bookings are not confirmed until payment is received ( by Paypal or wire transfer bank*).

In any event, Hidden Secrets strongly advises you to take out travel insurance… it’s well worth the peace of mind.

We always suggest a call, email, or text the day prior to your tour to ensure all your details are as they should be. It is not obligatory, but it helps.

If confirmed standard departure tour bookings are canceled the following fees apply:

More than 7 days in advance – 10% of the original fee.

3-7 days in advance – 50% of tour cost.

Within 72 hours of commencement – refunds will not be available.

If changes are made more than 6 days prior to the original booking there is no charge.. the rebooked date must be within 2 months.

For this tour, we require a downpayment of 50% upon reservation and the remainder 1 week prior to traveling or in case booked within a 3-week period, the full 100% upon reservation.
