Fun and adventure in the mystical Cloudforest, a perfect day out in nature!

The town of Mindo, in the midst of the magic of the cloud forest, has something to offer for everyone’s taste. Adventure, hiking, birdwatching, orchids, chocolate, and much more.

We leave Quito around 7:30 AM from your hotel. As soon as we are outside of Quito you will see a change in landscapes. The dry mountain ranges leading up to the windy road into the cloud forest takes your breath away. We will stop at the Pahuma Reserve, a place with 3 waterfalls and great opportunities for an easy to moderate hike. From here we continue our way to the rustic village of Mindo where we have several options regarding activities. Remember though, as this is a shared tour, we will do those activities that have the most in favour.

Depending on the time left after the reserve we can do 2-3 of the following activities:

• Hike to the waterfalls
• Orchids, Hummingbirds, butterflies farm
• Chocolate Tour
• Canopying on 3 – 10 lines
• Birdwatching

CANCELLATIONS POLICIES

Scheduled tour bookings are not confirmed until payment is received ( by Credit card, Paypal, or wire transfer bank*).

In any event, Tour Guide Ecuador strongly advises you to take out travel insurance.  It’s well worth the peace of mind.

We always suggest a call, email, or text the day before your tour to ensure all your details are as they should be. It is not obligatory, but it helps.

If confirmed standard departure tour bookings are canceled the following fees apply:

More than 7 days in advance – 10% of the original fee.

3-7 days in advance – 50% of tour cost.

Within 72 hours of commencement – refunds will not be available.

If changes are made more than 6 days before the original booking there is no charge. The rebooked date must be within 2 months.
